The Mumbai Festival (estd. 2005) has pioneered a unique public-private partnership model, wherein NGO’s, Private parties, Government and related Authorities work cohesively as The Mumbai Festival Committee. The festival is inclusive; whoever wants to participate can do so provided they conform to the festival ethos and comply with the prescribed standards.  


The Mumbai Festival Committee {MFC} believes in the universal role played by culture and travel in cementing people together. Keeping ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ as our core philosophy, we are dedicated to nurturing traditional and contemporary Indian art and culture. Culture Tourism thus forms a critical instrument for promoting Mumbai as a preferred destination for tourists across the world. Our target – 1 million tourists to Mumbai in five years.
